Minding Your Body

Earlier, we looked at how the mind affects the body. Many people understand that principal, but very few realize that the reverse direction can be true as well. Let's talk about "Posture!"

Here is where the Mind is monitoring the position of the body. Good posture will improve blood flow and accommodate better neurological flow through the body. So before you step to the starting line, stand tall, walk tall, breath deep and "dress for success" with the position of your body.

In summary for this and the previous lesson, your mind and your body are intricately interconnected. It is not easy to disconnect the two. Each of them can influence the other. You, however, can DECIDE to put your body in the right position to positively affect the mind while you can also DECIDE to place in your mind and focus on the thoughts that positively influence the body. It is still a matter of choice!
